Travel Information

By Daily Superfast Ferry from continental Europe to Rosyth (Edinburgh).
We are only 10 minutes drive from the port of Rosyth (Edinburgh). From Rosyth, follow signs for North Queensferry along the B981 to Deep Sea World and left, past a sign saying "Access for Residents only" down Forthside Terrace into the cul-de-sac, which is East Bay. Battery House is number 3 East Bay, a large stone built house on your left, with white garden gates, and a white front door.

By car, or by air/car from the South.
Edinburgh International Airport is a straightforward 20-25 minutes drive door to door. From the Airport, turn right to the Newbridge roundabout and there, take the M90 North. Cross the Forth Road Bridge and turn first left after the Bridge onto the B981-signposted for North Queensferry and Deep Sea World. Follow the directions as above. An airport taxi from the airfield to our door costs around £18.

By car from the North.
Arriving from the North, approach down the M90. Turn off at the Ferrytoll Park and Ride, (the last junction before the Forth Road Bridge), just past the junction called "Admiralty Interchange". Follow signs to North Queensferry and Deep Sea World on the B981, directions as above.

By Train.
From Waverley station in Edinburgh take the local "Fife Circle" trains running every half-hour to North Queensferry station. Let me know in advance the time of your train and I will come to collect you. Alternatively, from Edinburgh, take the train to Inverkeithing where there is a taxi service to North Queensferry. It will take about ten minutes and cost about £5 for the taxi ride to our door.

By Bus.
From Edinburgh St Andrew Square, buses leave every 10 minutes for Ferrytoll Park and Ride (one mile from our door). Call me beforehand to let me know which bus you will catch and I will come to collect you.
